DALE TOMLINSON (1962 -       )

Dale Tomlinson is a contemporary quilt artist known for her brilliant use of colour and love of line and shape. Her compositions are graphic and improvisational and are created without the use of patterns. A trip to Ohio in 2011 to study with Master Artist and Quiltmaker, Nancy Crow led to many years of part-time study and in 2018 Dale left her career in the not-for-profit world to devote herself full time to art. Although she resides in Toronto, Dale’s work is strongly influenced by her childhood in Muskoka. Dale’s work has been exhibited and collected in the United States, Europe and Canada.
