DAMIEN WORTH (1978 - )
Damien Worth is a multi-disciplinary artist living and working in rural Prince Edward Island. An honours graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Damien’s interest in experimental approaches to art production are focused in the media of painting, new media, video, and installation. Damien’s paintings explore landscape not as an idyllic space, but rather a site of dislocation, duality, and transition. Playing at the edge of landscape’s conceptual boundaries, his work portrays terrains that are simultaneously familiar and otherworldly. Damien has participated in various solo and group exhibititions in national and international venues and has been the recipient of numerous grants and awards.
