Karole Marois, originally from Ottawa, is an established contemporary figurative painter based in Prince Edward County Ontario. A Fine Arts graduate of the Ontario College of Art (now OCADU), she also holds a diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence Italy. Karole has presented her work in numerous exhibitions in Canada and abroad, and her paintings can be found in various private and public collections. A constant theme in Karole’s work has been our profound human/nature connection. As a sailor, swimmer, and dedicated water lover, she feels a responsibility to honour and protect the vitality of these precious ecosystems.
“Through my work, I aim to draw viewers into a quiet, contemplative space—one where the subtle dance between humanity and nature becomes visible. My paintings serve as a meditation on water’s transient beauty and its enduring presence, reminding us of the life flowing through and around us all.”
