MARGOT ROI


Canadian contemporary artist Margot Roi has been exhibiting her work for more than 35 years. Originally from Dundas and now based in Muskoka, she studied Arts and Technology at Sheridan College before earning a BFA from the University of Windsor. Her paintings are marked by vibrant colour, layered textures, and gestural line work, reflecting both her background in fabric design as well as her lifelong fascination with nature. A celebrated artist and educator, Roi’s work has received numerous awards and continues to explore memory, movement, and the landscapes that inspire her.
